login fails

Hi everybody,

I have a switch C2960X with system image file: c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E8.

I can not connect it remotely with putty. 

It will be appreciated any help.

Can you connect to it using a console cable and the console port?

Ok, great. Now, can you connect a PC/laptop to one of the ports, make sure the port is in the correct vlan, give the PC/laptop an IP and try to connect to the switch using telnet?

PC but I want to connect to it remotely using putty via ssh.

Is ping successful to that switch ..? If yes , there might be some issues in acl or vty configurations..! try to double check acl and vty configurations.

Can you try to login using console port or telnet and post running configurations so that we can take a look on them
