loging issue

I have Cisco C2960 24 TT L Switch,

I have putted password using command "enable secrate 5 passord"

after putting this command i am unable to loging into this switch.

is ther any bug in the witch?

or

how can i loging into this switch

Since you used option "5" you told the IOS that you provided a hash. Just do a password recovery on the device.  I don't know what device this is for, but the process will be very similar if not identical: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps221/products_password_recovery09186a0080094773.shtml

When you go to configure it again, leave out the keyword "5" and the IOS will automatically hash it for you.

Hi,

Are you typing the same password which you have typed at the configuration mode,try to get the console of the swithc and chnage the password once again to login.
