mac address-table not respected if ip.dst is multicast

Hi,

I'm using mac address-table to switch traffic from n ports to 1 ports and then back 1 port to n ports. It's working for unicast ip.dst traffic. But for multicast ip.dst traffic the frames are switched to all ports. So I can tell that the mac address-table is not respected. Is there a way to force to follow the mac address-table: I don't want the multicast ip.dst frames to be routed to other port than the ones in the mac-address table.

Thanks.

 - Isn't that the idea of multicast ?

Yes and I know it, but I want my cisco not to look ip level.

- You still may need to enable IGMP snooping to prevent multicast from broadcasting to all ports.

igmp snooping was disabled.

I activated the igmp snooping. Here is the status:

AFDXCUT-SW2-A350_T48#show ip igmp snooping
Global IGMP Snooping configuration:
-----------------------------------
IGMP snooping              : Enabled
IGMPv3 snooping (minimal)  : Enabled
Report suppression         : Enabled
TCN solicit query          : Disabled
TCN flood query count      : 2
Last Member Query Interval : 1000

Vlan 1:
--------
IGMP snooping                       : Enabled
IGMPv2 immediate leave              : Disabled
Explicit host tracking              : Enabled
Multicast router learning mode      : pim-dvmrp
Last Member Query Interval          : 1000
CGMP interoperability mode          : IGMP_ONLY

But I have still multicast traffic forwarded to the bad port.

Do I have to switch igmp snooping mode?

Thanks.
