MAC-to-VLAN mapping

Is it possible to configure mac-to vlan mapping without configuring VMPS??

Hi,

the other way to do dynamic vlan assignment is using dot1x authentication with radius server but the vlan assignment will be per user not per mac address as far as i know.

Can you tell me how can I configure VMPS in 4506e switch....

I didn;t get the server part... how can I really configure TFTP and database things on 4506e??

Hi,

configure a host as VMPS server and put the database( it is an ascii file) and your switch as VMPS client:
