Management VLAN Not Coming Up

Hello, I'm having trouble bringing the mgmt vlan up on a 2960X that I have just configured into my network.  The physical interface comes up with no problem when connected to my core 9516 (vtp server) via a switchport tunnel but the mgmt vlan interface will come up no matter what I try.  This isn't the first or only 2960X I've brought into my network and the config is the same as all others.  Making no sense at this point.  The config is attached with the tunnel on int g1/0/25.

Looking at your 2960x config, I don't see any port in vlan 101.

Can you clarify?

Make sure you have created vlan 101.

I think that your problem is simple.

you have a L3 vlan created, but you dont have a L2.

try it:
sw(config):vlan 101
sw(config):interface vlan 101
sw(config-if): shut
sw(config-if): no shut

post here also output from:

show vtp status

show vlan brief

Jaderson yes the problem was simple.  Can't believe I missed that.  I still can't get the other vlans to propagate to this switch however.  I attached results of sh vtp brief and status from the 2960 and a vtp status from the 9500 core.

good to know about it.

Please, post here

output from both sides (core and access) that dont are receiving vlans from vtp.

show running-config
show vtp status
show vtp password
show vlan brief
show ip int bri
show cdp neighbor

Jaderson, I changed the vtp domain name, version and password on the 2960 to match those of the 9500.  I created a dummy vlan on the 9500 (vlan 667) which has propagated to all other switches.

Still no joy on the 2960 in question.

As per the information, the VTP Version is different from Server

Server running VTP v3, Client running version 1

make sure VTP Domain same as Server (some time matter Case sensitive).

after correcting the above information. add 1 dummy VLAN and check the revision both the switches correct.

Unfortunately the problem has not been solved.  Vlan info still not propagating to this one switch.  I posted running configs and shows in a previous post a few minutes ago.  Don't know if you saw them.

@hudsons now i saw that.

Look it:

CORE-SW205-SW210#sh vtp status
VTP Version capable : 1 to 3
VTP version running : 3
VTP Domain Name : AIRTERMNORVA
VTP Pruning Mode : Enabled     <<  disable it
VTP Traps Generation : Disabled
Device ID : 7035.09cc.6800

SW167MAINT#sh vtp status
VTP Version capable : 1 to 3
VTP version running : 3
VTP Domain Name : AIRTERMNORVA
VTP Pruning Mode : Disabled
VTP Traps Generation : Disabled
Device ID : 848a.8de9.a800

and test if the vlans still missing

Pruning disabled on core 9500.  Still no propagation.  Vtp status from both uploaded prior to this post.
