Hi,
A trunk port by default allows all VLAN to be passed over it. But also trunk port could be configured to allow only certain VLANs.
int g0/0
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allow vlan 10-20
Verification:
show interface trunk
This will show you which VLANs are allowed on that port.
Hope it will help.
Best regards,
Abzal

Hi All,
Thanks you very much for your support.
I totally agree with that we can allow certain VLAN on trunk port with the help of above configruation.
Int Gig0/0
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk allow VLAN add 10-15
But my question is how many VLANs we can allow on trunk port?
And How many VLANs we can create on Cisco 3750 & 6500 Series Switch.
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
You can check the maximum VLANs locally created on a switch by issuing a 'show vtp status' command.

Hi,
Those swithces supports up to 4094 VLANs. And there is some specific ranges of VLANs.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/12_4t15/ht_xvlan.html
As I said you can simply verify it with this command:
sh int trunk
If you have one of those model switches.
Hope it will help.

If you are running PVST/PVST+, your limitation will likely be the maximum number to spanning-tree instances. See this blog post for more details:
