Memory for Cisco router 2811

I want to upgrade my DRAM of 256MB to 512MB to support 15.1 IOS image.

Can I buy Cisco approved DRAM from third party

Like www.satech.com

Pls let me know.

Yes, you could use cisco approved DRAM. Please see the Cisco part number for DRAM below,

MEM2811-256D

MEM2811-512D

I am not sure about the performance of the other vendor memory, but still i would suggest you to use the cisco product to aviod any deviation in the performance.
