Memory Leak on 3850

Hi Guys,

I recently read a field notice from Cisco regarding memory leak on 3850. Below are the details:

I have several 3850 with 16.3.5b running in my environment. I took sample on 3 of my switches and so far I did not find the symptom explained.

Should I upgrade my switches to a newer version? The severity on the page itself is 'only' moderate.

Thank you.

Hi Fdharmawan,

WS-C3850-48P, I would recommend upgrading to IOS-XE Version 16.3.6 as shown below. Here’s the Release Note for the IOS-XE Procedure to upgrade from IOS-XE 3.xE to IOS-XE Denali 16.3.x in Install Mode and have mentioned all known bugs related  memory leak.

Hope response helpful to you!

I know I would.
The firmware you're using is a "re-build".
