migrate sup720-3B to sup720-10G

i would like migrate a cat6513 with 2 supervisor sup720-3B to 1 sup720-10G.

Is it possible with no traffic interupt ?

Hello Pascal,

I'm afraid this is not possible as you can remove or change the standby supervisor but only with one of the same model

if you remove the standby supervisor and you install the sup720-10G it is likely that it will not be considered a match companion for the active supervisor and it will be stopped in rommon.

I know the redundancy code makes this check.

I concur with Guiseppe. Even if you could get to RPR redundancy mode there is a 2-3 minute cutover time and even longer if you have DFC cards. And I am SURE you could not get to SSO mode.
