Can the Gigaport interfaces be monitored on a 4006 (Sup 3)
e.g. Gigaport10(Gi5/11,5/13,5/15,5/17)
so we can tell if ports are going to get oversubscribed??

Hi,
What you can do is enable SNMP on your switch and then use a NMS to monitor the interfaces on the switch after you add it to the NMS.
You'll need to configure an SNMP string.
Hope this helps...

Not really helpful.
We already monitor all ports via snmp.
Want to find out if you can monitor the gigaport interface - this is a group of ports on a 10/100/1000 interface card. The group of ports share 1G. What to monitor this so we can see if switch ports are likely to drop traffic do to oversubscription of the gigaport interface.
