Is it necessary to change the MTU for SVL links in a scenario in which interfaces are configured with MTU larger than default 1500 bytes?
Traffic could flow between chassis through SVL links in a Stackwise Virtual cluster. Could not find any references in StackWise Virtual configuration guides.

Thanks.
Does this mean that System MTU needs to be changed in a scenario in which ports with MTU larger than 1500 bytes is necessary?

No, usually system MTU does not need to be changed.

I decided to be increase the MTU globally (system mtu 9216).
This changed the SVL interfaces to 9216 automatically, and I am sure that there will be no issues with jumbo frames traversing these links.

You can have 2 option system MTU and per interface, SVI is just logical interface, you can change the MTU and also speed - some time some monitor system complain about utilization.
Make sure other side also support jumbo frames
