Multicast Routing over DMVPN Spoke-to-Spoke

Hey,

Just wondering if I can get some thoughts or solutions on the problem I am having with multicast routing. We have a DMVPN with on demand full mesh setup, and I am trying to route multicast traffic from spoke to spoke. I can recieve the multicast information at the DMVPN hub, and the spokes can recieve multicast packets from the hub, just cant get the spokes to talk to each other. I am currently setup with autorp, but using the ip pim send-rp-announce and ip pim send-rp-discovery on a 6509 just behind the DMVPN hub, and using ip pim sparse-mode at all the end points.

Thanks in advance,

David

I think it will be worth having this question answered. After many lab setups and attempts it seems the only way to route multicast from Spoke-to-Spoke is to use it along with SSM. And also the IP routing from the spokes has to be set to the hub IP, not to the tunnel interface. This is very important. Which means all traffic will be proxied through the hub. Unfortunately, this was the only way to make multicast go from Spoke to Spoke.
