We have a setup where we receive IDTV streams on a server, from where they get bundled via an application and sent out on a multicast stream via a VLAN.
These video streams get played out on a big screen via VLC so we can monitor them.
Now the thing is this used to be working like a charm but all of the sudden, some streams are not sent out anymore and so the big screen with different streams is incomplete now.
I've created a mirror port on the switch where this device is located that runs the application to bundles the stream, sends it out on the network, and i can see different multicast streams are living on this particular VLAN from the switch perspective, but when i do a packet capture on the machine itself, i can't see these streams but only 1 and as a result, they are not visible on the TV where we monitor the streams, only 1 of them is available while there should be around 5 or 6 different streams.
I'm new to multicasting in general and have no idea how to troubleshoot.
We don't use multicast routing, the multicast video stream is passed onto a single VLAN.
Where and what to look after?

What type of switch do you have and what version of software are you running?
Also, can you post the output of "sh run"
