Multilayer vPC for DCI Solution

Hi all,

I have a customer and I need to configure DCI, Im using as reference the Quick Start Guide vPC, I know that I cant use a L3 for this, my question is how should I have this configured what type of vpc to use?

Hi,

Is both the DC are fully meshed connected or point to point with DCI switches.

Check out the below document for DCI interconnect with good example.

vPC N7k DCI

Hello,

Dark Fiber is physical medium connectivity between buildings, Just make sure your provider support ip protocol support over dark fiber.

Hello,

That depends on your design how you want to have interconnection between Data center either in layer 2 or layer 3. So based on requirement you can have appropriate configuration between DCI for both the DC netwrok connectivity.

Hello,

See you can configure vPC over dark fiber, Dark fiber is physical medium over which ip protocol are supported.
