Hi,
I have exams right now and i need to know how to fix the following solution:
There's a simulated company which has 3 departments.
So i have 3 VLANs(10, 20 and 30).. But they want redundancy.. so i have 2 switches which are connected to each other.
And i have 1 access point for VLAN 30.
What they want is to have the trunkport on my access point.
How can i configure this ?
Thanks for the help.

Hi Justin,
I understand that you need to configure a trunk link to an access point in vlan 30. All that needs to be done on the switch end is to allow only vlan 30 on the trunk:
switchport trunk allowed vlan add 30The below link might help you in configuring the AP:

Yes, but now i need an accesspoint with 5 fast ethernet ports.
Fa0/1 = Trunk
Fa0/2 = switch 1
Fa0/3 = switch 1
Fa0/4 = switch 2
Fa0/5 = switch 2
Wireless = for VLAN 30
And i probably need to user VTP
You have a little idea what i want ?
Switch 1:
Fa0/1-4 = Trunk
Fa0/5 - 15 = VLAN 10
Fa0/15 - 30 = VLAN 20
Fa0/31 - 38 = VLAN 30
Fa0/39 - 48 = Shutdown
Switch 2:
Fa0/1-4 = Trunk
Fa0/5 - 15 = VLAN 10
Fa0/15 - 30 = VLAN 20
Fa0/31 - 38 = VLAN 30
Fa0/39 - 48 = Shutdown
Thanks for your help anyway
