Hello,

I own a computershop ans sell at small base your products

Mostly end user normal routers.

I wanted for myself the best and use a

CISCO wireless – gigabit security router with vpn  business series

Serial nr AO807J300377

see the about screenshot on top

I recently upgraded my internet connection to 40mbps

I used to have 30 mbps when I run tests I had a 25 mbps download.

But now with my new internet connection and the cisco i still have 25 mbps

When I put the cable direct in the modem I have 39 mbps  !!

So I thought a router slows down and that for a better model of router

( i do not use the vpn part )

When i put a cheap older model like a belkin wireless router G

I get speeds like 39 mbps , and now I just upgraded the firmware from the cisco

Ill get speed like 26 and sometimes 27

Why does the cisco 4400 slows down my internet ?

Are there some settings that I do not know about ?

Even at factory defaults same results.

Can you help me out ??

Thanx in advance

Rik Meuleman
