Hi,
I noticed for both N2K models same price. However the E variant (enhanced) has bigger buffer size (SAN, big data).
Why should I still quote the N2248TP if I can buy the E for the same price with better specs. Or in other words, are there also drawbacks on the E variant?

Hi,
Buy the N2248TP only if you need some strange backward compatibility with NX-OS pre-5.1(3)N(1)1 on N5K or 6.1(1) on N6K.
Another difference is that N2248TP goes only 3 km while N2248TP-E supports 10 km distance from the parent N5K / N6K switch. Anyway, this should not force a buy in of N2248TP :)
