Hi all,

N7K-SUP2E login problems via CLI-a on Nexus 7000.

This device have problems when I connect via CLI, namely they eject so-called hieroglyphs.

Of course, this problem would be easy to solve by changing the bit rate per second, but unfortunately it doesn't help, the reset button doesn't help!

Please if you know how to solve the problem, I would be very grateful.

Thank you all.

Assuming that this is an issue connecting to the console and that you do have access via SSH/telnet the output of show line might be helpful.

Typically this kind of issue is caused by a mismatch between the operating speed of the console and the speed configured for your terminal software. I would suggest that you change the configuration of your terminal software starting at the very lowest speed and going to the high at 115K. My experience is that for some terminal software you may need to stop the software and establish a new session each time you change the speed.

Looks you may need to try from each level and see what is configured. 9600 to 115K

on a side note, you could also try a Putty alternative...
