Hello all,
I am running into issues with configuring QoS on a 6807 VSS pair using a single Sup2T per chassis running 15.5(1)SY5. I have some basic requirements: (1) match certain apps using specific DSCP values, (2) use ACLs to match specific applications, and (3) set traffic matched by the ACL with specific DSCP values. All of this should be in the outbound direction and will be applied to multiple layer 3 interfaces that connect upstream. However, I'm running into 3 main issues:
1. If I specify a class-map type of lan-queuing, I can't match the traffic with an ACL
2. If I specify a normal class-map that matches against an ACL, I can't specify it in my lan-queuing policy-map
3. LAN-Queuing Policy-map doesn't have the command 'set' to tell the switch to set a DSCP value when matching the traffic for that specific class. However, normal policy-map does allow me to use the set command.
What I'm trying to prioritize traffic for is for the following:
Network control - CS6 & CS7
Voice - DSCP 46 or EF
Video - AF41
Signaling - AF31
MS Teams - ACL (want policy map to set this traffic to a DSCP value I specify)
TeleHealth App - ACL (want policy map to set this traffic to a DSCP value I specify)
How do I proceed with configuring the above requirements on this platform since it appears that I'm limited to a single output service policy per interface?
Thanks,
Terence
