Need assistance in IOS copy on 3850 switch

I have a requirement to add a secondary stack to a 3850 switch. 

The primary switch is set as priority 1 and the standby which will be connected is set at priority 14. Will I be able to copy ios into both switches stacked without changing priority

Is the switch master configured for Install Mode? 

If the switch master is in Install Mode, enter the following command: 

conf t
 software auto-upgrade enable 
end
wr

Once the above command is in, connect the new stack member to the stack and let the stack master do the rest.

What I need to clarify is that I have the switch 1 priority set as 1 and switch 2 priority set as 14. So if I change the priority of switch 1 to 15 and copy ios to the switches in one go and reload the switch, will it cause any issues. Will the iOS get copied to both the switches.

Whichever unit is the intended Switch Master should have a priority level of 15.
