Need help Intervlan routing - L3 switches

Hello Guys,

I have some confusions , please advice me.

1. Suppose I setup a core switch with 5 vlans with Virtual interfaces (interface vlan 1, interface vlan 2 up-to interface vlan 5 ) , I assign each interface IP into diff subnet as they are in diff vlan.   Then I attach this core switch to Firewall and I am able to ping each interface.

After that I connect Access Layer switches and I configure same vlans on all switches and put ports in access vlans,

My question is, Do i need to configure Virtual interfaces on Access Layer switches or it will work. I do not want to waste IP addresses  .    ??

I just want to assign IP to each switch in management Vlan.

Thanks

You do not need SVIs on the access layer switches. The core will be the gateway for the access layer switches. You'll be OK
