Hi all,
First of all, I have to say that I am new at the network area and I have poor knowledge of them.
To make you a picture, I am working with several switches and networks, let's say switches SG-200-28 and SG-350-28P and the networs 192.168.1.xx, 192.168.2.xx and 172.20.0.xx for example.
The problem is that I have 2 cases of work:
"stand-alone-mode" where in each switch will be a connect equipments to the net 172..... with the same IPs and I only need to share the 192 net.
"Link-mode" where I have to disable one of the 172... net in one switch and start to share the other between the switches.
I have been reading that the way to manage the case of have sames IPs is with virtual LAN and Private Virtual LAN, but I dont know if I will be able to stay changing between modes and the way to configure the VLANs.
Any Idea?
Thanks all.
