Netflow on interfaces

Hello, I understand you would not put Netflow on trunk interfaces because Netflow operates at Layer 3 and trunk interface is layer 2.

So, what about a standard port that is assigned to a VLAN (switchport access vlan x). Is this not also a layer 2 port ?

So would you put your Netflow commands here or only on the SVI for that VLAN ?

Hi,

The capability of Netflow is mostly based on platform you are using and also the license level you have, but in general you can do Netflow on layer-3 links, SVIs and layer-2 vlans.
