new vdc creation in n7k

Hi,

I have been installing a new nexus 7009 and I created a vdc name core-vdc.  while I am going to configure a l3 port-channel with ip address, its showing some error, not able to configure IP Address in any ports allocated to this vdc.

error: requested config change not allowed

pls. help me how to solve this and I can configure l3 features in newly created vdc.

Can you please post the following output from the main vdc.

show module

show vdc

Also which ports are you allocating to the port channel for L3 in the core-vdc?
