We have a few Nexus 3548s which have 24 port licensing. Our question is, are the remaining 24 ports usable at all without licensing?

Yes, I will be buying licensing. My question was, are the rest of the ports usable without that licensing or can they not be used at all.

Hi,

Legally, if you want to use all 48 ports, you would need to purchases additional license for the other 24 ports.

Have a look at this link. It seems as though you can use the other 24 ports but not as 10Gig but rather 1gig.

Also, remember even if you can use the ports, TAC will not support them if you don't have the proper license.

unofficial you can use, but if you like more support for that ports or any issue TAC looking to see you have a valid license.

suggestion to have a license not to take the risk.
