Nexus 5000 DSCP marking for default-class

I was trying to mark DSCP on default-class to 0 (default) on inbound policy type qos,

policy-map type qos non-VoIP

  class type qos class-default

     set dscp default

But, it gave me a error, saying

ERROR: class-default cannot be modified

I am running Nexus 5548P with 5.0(2)N2(1).

You can do this, but the syntax is a bit different:

policy-map type qos non-VoIP

class class-default

     set dscp default

I am under the impression that you can do DSCP marking only on the 5548 of the 5k Series.

For the rest you can only map down dscp->cos and do your marking on cos (or vice versa).

I will try to find the reference documentation.

There is reference for marking DSCP only for 5548.

Ofcourse DSCP Classification can be done (with 'match') on all 5k
