Nexus 5010 v5.x switch between VLANs?

so I know that v4 doesn't but does the new NX-OS support switching/routing between VLANs?  if I anchored 2 VLANs at SVIs on the 5010 does the new NX-OS have any ability to pass traffic between them, or do I still have to leave the 5010 and head for my 4506 to get from one VLAN to the next?

The 5010 and 5020 will not route traffic between SVI's. You will need the 5548 with the L3 module for routing on the Nexus 5548 switches. Otherwise you need to uplink to a L3 switch.

Guess I was hoping more than anything.  Cisco Rep & SE made the 5500 L3 pitch but that was after selling the 5k/2k package.
