Nexus 5K Routing in Pending State

Good afternoon,

 

Does anyone know what would cause a Nexus 5K's routes to be in pending state?  We just brought up a new Nexus 5K and configured static routing for now when issuing "show ip route" all the routes are in pending state so I am not to ping the default gateway.  The arp tables show incomplete for the default gateway.

 

I saw this bug there but this bug relates to Nexus 7K and version 6.2.  The customer is running 5K and version 4.x (new site and just brought up - not upgrading yet as need to make a trip there) but just wondering if an upgrade is going to be hired to get this working:

Hi,

What is the license for the 5k?

Also, do you have a layer-3 card installed?

thank you for the reply.

 

Looks like they don't have any LAN based licensed installed to support static route.

 

They don't have any daughter card module but all they need is just the static route so that was it.
