Nexus 5K vPC and Dropping Connections

Terry MacDougal

We have a pair of 5K's (6.0(2)N1(2)), clients are experiencing slow connectivity and dropped connections at times.

Connected upstream to the 5K is a 4948 (trunking) with only 1 connection to 5k-A. Any ideas to what would be happening? STP maybe??? The vPC looks fine...

Do you know the reasoning for making it a vpc if it's single connected to the 4948 ???

Agreed with Glen.  There is no need for vPC, since there is only a single connection to one of the 5ks.

Sorry guys, we have the other switch on order. I just wanted to verify the config as it stands now....

Thanks
