Nexus 7000 Transparent Firewall between VRFs

Hi,

I am trying to connect a transparent firewall to a N7k. Therefore I set up two interfaces E1/17 and E1/18 belonging to different vrf's and connected these ports together. I expected the interfaces would be able to reach each other. Unfortunately this does not work. Is my design supported or do I have to use a seperate VDC for this to work? I'd appreciate a hint for a solution.

When you mention different VRF, they are different network right.

in most cases Transparent means extend the L2 with FW capabilities, what the use case yours ?

The goal ist to build a fusion vrf. In the end each vrf peers with the fusion vrf through the transparent firewall. But first I wanted to test connectivity between the vrfs. Unfortunately I cannot reach the interface "behind" the firewall.
