Hi, I am seeing an issue that after deleting/recreating one of the VDC in Nexus 7K, VLAN is not been able to be configured within the VDC although it is not actually a reserved VLAN. Could it be anything missing in the license installation? the version of the image is NX-OS 6.1.2

StorageVDC(config)# vlan 100

                                ^

invalid vlans (reserved values) at '^' marker.

Hi Aiqi

If you're trying to configure vlan in FCOE vdc this behavior may be expected.

If you don't use FCOE - please remove fcoe config from VDC:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/nx-os/fcoe/configuration/guide/b_Cisco_NX-OS_FCoE_Configuration_Guide_chapter_0101.html#d4102e130a1635

If you use FCOE in your network please refer to FCOE configuration guide for Nexus 7000 platform

Alex

HTH,

yes Oleksandr, I have to allocate fcoe-vlan in default VDC to this specific VDC first
