Nexus 7009 to 7004 VPC

Our Customer's configuration below mentioned;

• N7K-C7009
  
• SUP2 x 2
  
• 5 x Fabric2 Module
  
• 1x 48 Port F2E SFP+ Card
  
• 6x 48 Port M1 10/100/1000 Cooper Card
  
• Firmware : 6.2.x
  

Our Customer wants to purchase below products ;

• N7K-C7004
  
• SUP2 x2
  
• 1x 48 Port F2E SFP+ Card
  
• 1x 48 Port M1 10/100/1000 Cooper Card
  
• Firmware : 6.2.x
  

He wants to use two configs together with VPC. Is it possible to work like that ?

i mean,

that we can use two configuration which one is customer's has configuration and the other is want to purchase.

we want to use all products eachother by using vPC. i dont know is it working,

Hi,

Yes, that will work fine.  You don't have to have the exam same models to do vPC.  You can use a 7009 with a 7004

or 7010 and 7004.

isn't it a silly for you as well i really dont understand how the same models cannot work with together by vPC.

i thought you were kidding..

do you have any documents about that ?

What I saying is that the same model works and even if they are not the same model it still works.
