Nexus 7010 2 Chassis Redundant

Hi,

I just get information, that my customer have 2 Nexus 7010 and they want to make 2 chassis to be a redundant mode (active-active)

but, i see Supervisor Engine module is different each other.

first Nexus 7010 comes with a Supervisor Engine N7K-SUP2E and then the other with Supervisor Engine N7K-SUP1

only one Supervisor Engine per Chassis for your info.

and the question is :

1. Can you give me suggest what can i do ( requirement ) for make 2 Nexus to work redundant with vPC mode

2. are i have to change the other supervisor engine to be same each other ? ( N7K-SUP1 replace with N7K-SUP2E )

Anyone can guide me..

I guess you can make vpc between them provided same Version of code and line card on both chassis for the vpc peer-link. For more information, please go through the cisco live BRKDCT2048
