Could you post the configuration of the interface?
Can you tell us what is connected to the SFP? And can you verify that whatever is connected has activated its interface?

I had this issue also when we first started configuring our N5ks a few months ago. Even though the N5k recognized the SFP we had to configure the interface with "speed 1000" before the link would come up.
Hope this helps!

Issue is resolved after changing the interface speed.
