Hello everybody,

Does Nexus5K (N5K-C5596UP-FA) have support or will have support to 10G-BaseT?

Does Cisco have any GLC for 10G-BaseT for Nexus5k series?

I had not seen that. The second option is still viable, or you could add a N2K-C2232TM-E FEX to it to give you 10G Base-T support.

You can always add a N55-M12T 12 port 10G-BaseT expansion module. If you have a requirment for more10G-BaseT then SFP+, you could use a N5K-C5596T-FA and add N55-M16UP expansion modules as needed.

Hi Gregory,

I guess that module (N55-M12T) is not supported in N5K-C5596UP-FA. Look the description on datasheet:

N55-M12T(=)

12-port 10G BASE-T Ethernet Module (Only supported on 5596T chassis)

Regards.

Ok Gregory, the second option is not good because I don´t have a N5K-C5596T-FA.

But I think N2K-C2232TM-E could be used.

Thanks.
