Nexus5K not able to talk with IBM Blade server (IBM switch)

Hi,

I am using N5k to connect with IBM Blade server (IBM Switch)

Note : IBM blade chassis 1 gig port (inbuilt IBM Switch) is directly connected to Nexus5k Switch (Manually assign speed 1 gig)

I have created port-channel and made it trunk. (Chassis port also in port channel and trunk)

Nexus5k connected port is showing up but when I am running command show int port-channel20 it showin down

port-channel20 is down (No operational members)

Members in this channel: Eth1/21, Eth1/22, Eth1/23, Eth1/24

In Second scenario i have connectd cable on 1 cisco swich and making port channel and connected with nexus it is showing ok.

but having issue with IBM Blade server (IBM switch).

Please help.....

Hi,

Can you post configs from both the 5k and IBM switch?

do "sh eth sum", what you see under ports?

Connect both cables and check again.

Make sure that configuration on both ends is using the same channel protocol.
