have a NIM-ES2-8-P installed in my 4321 router and I am not getting power for a Cisco 7945 IP phone. Do you have to do any special configuration on the interface port for POE

NAME: "Power Supply Module 0", DESCR: "110W AC Power Supply for Cisco ISR 4320"
PID: PWR-4320-AC ,

you need below PSU (look at the table 5)

Hello,

other than the 'power inline' command on the ports, there is nothing much to configure. What is the output of 'show power inline' ?

Configuring PoE for FPGE Ports

SUMMARY STEPS
1. enable
2. configure terminal
3. cdp run
4. interface gigabitethernet slot/subslot/port
5. cdp enable
6. power inline {auto { auto [max milli-watts] | never }
7. exit

Post the complete output to the command "sh power inline".

There was no output

What about the output of 'show power' ?

And the output of 'show platform diag'...

No output?  How about "sh inventory"?

NAME: "NIM subslot 0/1", DESCR: "NIM-ES2-8-P"
PID: NIM-ES2-8-P , VID: V01, SN: FOC22225QUA

Above is the module I thought I could get POE on the 4321. I just remember on the 2801 you had to upgrade the power supply for the extra wattage. Other then I am not getting POE the switch module is working,

Do you have enough power source in the router 4321 ?

can you post full inventory ?
