NX-OS Nexus 9000v (ESXi Appliance)

Hello,

I set up 3, 9000v switches within ESXi and assigned an IP for MGMT 0.

I didn't set up any VRF just yet, but I did set up the switches using DHCP from a server. I'm unable to ping between the switches.

I'm guessing I need to make one of the switches an L3, then configure a few ports as "no switchport" and on the other switches configure VRF??

All of the switches (per their DHCassigneded IP's) are on the same VLAN.

Does this sound about right? I just need to be able to ping so I can setup some labs.

So I can ping the VRF just fine between the switches. 

I set up the e1/1 port on each switch the default VLAN and assigned a /24 IP.

I simply can't ping between the interface IP's. The ports are set up as "no switchport". 

The VRF context for, let's say switch A has the IP's of the other 2 switches. What am I still missing?

ip dhcp relay
ipv6 dhcp relay
vrf context management
ip route 0.0.0.0/0 192.168.2.73
ip route 0.0.0.0/0 192.168.2.74

To have a look and suggest what is wrong can you post the configuration of port and explain from where to where you pinging

as long as you not setup VRF for that interface it should ping directly connected interface.

Change the VM Network to promiscous mode accept.
