OSPF LSA Type

I want to know the detail about LSA Type 1,2,3,4 and 5,especially 1 and 2. There is little information about LSA Type 1 and 2 in some documents introducing ospf and LSA. Who could kindly tell me how to find the related documents or RFC.

hello Martin,

OSPFv2 used for ipv4 routing is defined in RFC 2328.

inside the RFC you can find a description of all the data structures used by the protocol.

Among Cisco press books I recommend the book from Jeff Doyle Routing TCP/IP vol. I both first and second edition.
