Filtering the FHRP using VACL's and MAC routing filters is all very well, however, if you want one vlan to have an HSRP at each site, and another to have HSRP fail between sites, what can be done?
The issue I see lies not with the VACL's as they are obviously per VLAN, but with the MAC filtering on the overlay, it appears to be global to the OTV router, so, would in my eyes, block the HSRP address from being available to the other site.
Does any one have any suggestions that would allow for a mix between FHRP filtering and not filtering?
