Hello:

The OTV is what will give you the possibility to extend the Red Lan between two points in geographically separate areas.

The concept is that the OTV encapsulates the Layer 2 over Layer 3, with the proviso that there is equipment at the ends forming the OTV tunnel, for this you need to implemented the concept of Jumbo Frames. and Rapid STP.
