I am currently having problems with end users getting "IE unable to display webpage," when launching Internet Explorer. This usually happens after the user has not been using ie for at least 15 minutes or more and only occurs when first launching ie or opening new tabs. I am wondering if I am having problems with my arp tables; perhaps they're damaged. My environment consists of the following:
(3) Cisco Catylist 2960 Series Switches
(2) Cisco Catylist 2950 Series Switches
Cisco 2801 Router
Cisco ASA 5510
Thanks in advance for any advice you all might be able to provide!

Hi Bill,
Have you tried doing a tracert from one of the PCs (or traceroute from access switch) to 4.2.2.2 or a ping to 4.2.2.2 when/as soon as you see the error page on IE?
Regards,
Kapil

Thanks for the reply. A reset of our Cisco switches seems to have solved our issues. Thanks again.
