Hello everyone, I'm trying to make an excercise and I bumped into an annoying problem. My port labels aren't displaying fully and I'm asking myself how I can fix this and if I can see on what port a cable is connected in packet tracer without the show label option or if it's possible in any way.
Screen of my problem is in the attachement.
If you know a solution please share the knowledge! Thanks!
Greetings
William

you can enable/disable showing port labels in preferences of PT;
also, try stretch link a bit more so there is a room for labels to show up;
not sure if u can change font of labels in PT; if u can try changing it. if not fonts, then try playing with size of application
(similar to zoom in/out feature)

The thing is that it's locked in the excercise, I can't move any device

so this must be a PT activity lab with some tabs, features closed; not open lab; Activity labs are password protected exercises to test your knowledge at CCNA level.
Any other tabs are locked as well?
The author probably locked this so that you are forced to use CDP to figure out ports.
Or, you screen resolution is too small; try adjusting it,

I recommend moving the devices a little further away, that will ensure that the labels of the interfaces does not overlap.
As Martin mentions, you can disable labels in Options> Preferences.
Later, if you place the mouse over the triangle, a label will be displayed that will indicate the interface.

Moving the devices is locked in this excercise.
