PBR clarification

Dear friends,

Just wanted a confirmation on the working of PBR

1. set ip default next-hop with multiple ip addresses

If the interface connected to the ip address (mentioned in the set ip default next-hop command) is down, will it automatically stop forwarding to the first ip address and route to the second.

Example:

set ip default next-hop 10.3.1.97 10.2.0.1

If 10.3.1.97 is connected to Tunnel0 interface and tunnel0 has gone down, will it stop forwarding to Tunnel 0 and just only forward to 10.2.0.1?

2. Will set ip default next-hop override default route in the routing table?

Note: Both the above clarifications are for 6500 running SXI2a code if that might matter.

Thanks and Regards

Gautam
