Ping timeout

Hi

I have 6 switch 2950 cascading.

but now a days my users faces ping time out problem. suddenly userers faces this problem after some of time ping is going normal.

so it is problem is data cable or data traffic ???

Hi,

Check out the speed and duplex configuration, and check your cables, and please do check the CPU utilization on the switches.

Hi

It seems that spantree convergence slow in your network ,do you use redundant links in your network ?

if you have redundant links in your network then maybe you need extra design for spantree because you have 6 switches.
