PoE passthrough issue Cisco C1300-24MGP-4X

Hi,

I have a new Cisco switch (C1300-24MGP-4X FW: 4.1.7.17), and connected to it is a UnifiSwitch USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE. The UnifiSwitch is powered by the Cisco switch via PoE PD. Normally, the UnifiSwitch should then also be able to provide PoE power to devices connected to it. However, this doesn’t work with this new Cisco switch. The UnifiSwitch powers on, but a device connected to it doesn’t receive power over PoE. With my old Cisco switch (WS-C2960L-SM-24PS), this worked without any issues.

Where could the problem with the new Cisco switch be?

I found the cause of the problem. It was related to the firmware of the Unifi switch.
After updating from the latest official firmware to the newest beta firmware, the issue was resolved.
