port config down stream switches dual home nexus VPC

In a dual homed topology as in this image should the ports on the switches FXE-01 and FXE-02 connecting to vPC101 and vPC102 be configured with LACP? Would regular stand alone ports work?

Would this be different if you use Catalyst switches downstream?

i would advise LACP port-channel (since they are dual homed)

FEX is just line card extention, so Port-channel is good for redundency.
