Hi,
For unknow reason, i was no more able to connect to my switch (2960X) on console port.
My current log/password seems to no more working properly.
Hopefully, Telnet access is still working.
I tried to change the password on line con 0, but it doesn't take it in count.
router#configure terminal router(config)#line con 0 router(config-line)#password letmein
router(config-line)#login
router(config-line)#end
I tried to disable the login on console port, no effect !
router#configure terminal router(config)#line con 0
router(config-line)#no login
router(config-line)#privilege level 15
router(config-line)#end
But it doesn't change anything, console port still request to me a username and password :(
I paste my conf :

Do you have any idea about what is wrong ?
Best Regards.

You show us commands that you used
router#configure terminal
router(config)#line con 0
router(config-line)#no login
router(config-line)#privilege level 15
router(config-line)#end
but the prompt/device name here does not match the prompt/device name in the config that you posted. So it looks like you did the commands on one device but posted from a different device and we have no knowledge of what was actually done on the switch whose config you posted.
HTH
