Hi all,

I am using Cisco ESW 520 -48 port for Server connections. I see  an warning in the system log file :

2SWPORT-W-LOCKPORTACTIVE: A packet with source MAC e4:1f:13:f1:fb:b6 tried to access through port e47 which is locked

So, I also ping to the server in the port e47 and it has packet loss:

HAN2-VG01#ping 10.27.0.5 repeat 105

Type escape sequence to abort.

Sending 105, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.27.0.5, timeout is 2 seconds:

!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!!.!!!!

!.!!!!!.!!!!!.

Anybody let me know why there are the warning  ?

Thanks

Thuc

Thuc,

Your port 47 has port security enable and has noticed that the MAC address on that port is different from

what the port had originally learned.
