Possible 3560 Fan Failure

Hi

I have a Cisco WS-C3560E-12D-E switch, which tells us in its log about a faulty fan.

Strangely enough, the sho env all command returns an OK for all four fans, but in the overview (last two lines) it declares Failure-Fan on both power supplies.

Feb 23 19:46:04.949: %PLATFORM_ENV-1-FRU_PS_FAN_FAILED: Faulty PS fan detected
Feb 23 19:46:05.033: %PLATFORM_ENV-1-FAN: Faulty fan detected

switch-998#sho env all
FAN 1 is OK
FAN 2 is OK
FAN 3 is OK
FAN 4 is OK
FAN PS-1 is OK
FAN PS-2 is OK
TEMPERATURE is OK
Temperature Value: 28 Degree Celsius
Temperature State: GREEN
Yellow Threshold : 37 Degree Celsius
Red Threshold    : 52 Degree Celsius
SW  PID                 Serial#     Status           Sys Pwr  PoE Pwr  Watts

1  C3K-PWR-300WAC      PAC12383682  Failure-Fan     Good     N/A      300/0

Does this indicate a problem or was this just a momentary hiccup? I'm a bit concerned.

Thanks for any helpful suggestions

Kapil, you certainly saved my day. Thanks.

Silly me, should've thought of the Software Bug Toolkit!

We still use version Version 12.2(50)SE2. We'll upgrade to a more recent version, that will resolve the matter.

Thanks you . Had the same problem
